Moise lives with his mother and 7 siblings in Cite Soleil, Haiti. Cite Soleil is the largest slum and most underdeveloped area of Haiti. Malnutrition and disease is commonplace. Violence is a constant threat from armed gangs that roam the streets. Moise’s father recently passed away. His mother is currently selling peanuts on the streets to make a small income but is not able to make an income sufficient to meet the needs of their family. Sponsorship will contribute to his school tuition, clothing, nutritional supports, and health care. Moise’s mother will be invited to attend Biblically-based, entrepreneurial and savings training. Christian Horizons Global also provides teacher training in this area to help build inclusive classrooms where children of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to participate.
