Dilcia Maria Cac Sho

Dilcia lives in the indigenous Mayan, jungle community of El Zapatillo in the Izabal district with her parents and two siblings. El Zapatillo is very remote and does not offer access to electricity or infrastructure for water and sewage. Health care is difficult to access. Recently an integrated, bilingual preschool was built and offers education for children with and without disabilities incorporating Spanish and their local Mayan dialect. Your sponsorship will contribute towards Dilcia’s education. It will also contribute to nutritional support, clothing and medical treatment as necessary.
