South Sudan Program Closure

Due to 30 years of war and violence followed by the start of yet another civil war in December 2013 that continues to cause chaos and unrest in Sudan, I am deeply grieved to let you know that Christian Horizons Global will be leaving South Sudan.

Christian Horizons and Christian Horizons Global exist to help people with exceptional needs belong to communities in which their God-given gifts are valued and respected.

Sadly, the ongoing conflict in South Sudan makes it impossible for us to fulfill this mandate. While this has been a heart wrenching decision, I am encouraged to share that Christian Horizons has committed in faith to fund the staff and services of Christian Horizons Global South Sudan until the end of March 2017, as they transition and determine their next steps.

We are inviting all of our donors, partners and staff to pray for peace in this nation, to pray for protection over the staff, volunteers and families connected to the work of Christian Horizons South Sudan and to consider giving a one-time gift to the community we are leaving.
