Break through barriers. Christian Horizons Supported Independent Living services give you the opportunity to live independently or with a roommate. Support is catered to the areas where you would like assistance and can include meal preparation, banking, housekeeping and medical appointments. The level of support is determined on an individual basis and can range from several hours per day to a few hours each week. Christian Horizons community residences provide supported group and independent living environments with people with developmental disabilities who require some level of daily assistance. Services are self-directed, and our goal is to provide the support that you need while equipping you to live as independently as possible and contribute to your community.

Christian Horizons Host Family Services offers support to you in a family setting. Our mission is to help you realize your dream of living and growing within a loving family and belonging to a community.

A number of programs are offered, including wood-working, painting, and grounds maintenance at the local golf course. The participants in these programs develop skills in their areas of interest and produce high quality faux antique furniture, survey stakes, and cottage industry decor. There is a strong sense of collegiality between all the people in these areas. This community feel is fostered through coffee times, BBQ's and other social events.
